lo fi sunrise by The Horizontal Society, is the debut release for the collective, and also the first release for outsider label, lo fi spiritual.

Sonically speaking, the EP is awash with fuzzed-out tamboura, monk-chants, field recording and lo fi cassette tape manipulations.

Just shy of 20 minutes long, this 3 track EP is inspired by coastal sunrises shared by members of The Horizontal Society. Just like a growing sun over the ocean, all three tracks grow from a minimal beginning into a full wall of rich harmonics.

It is recommended that the lo fi sunrise EP, be enjoyed whilst lying down.
